About Becker Vision Center

Becker Vision Center sets the highest standard in eye care with a full spectrum of services and cutting-edge technology. Serving families and residents in Wood County since 1987, this practice specializes in comprehensive eye care, medical eye care and specialty contact lenses. To support the practice s continued growth and maintain the gold-standard service that Becker Vision Center patients know and expect, the practice is looking to add an additional provider its team of four employees.

This practice us state-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology including computerized auto-refractors, Epic refraction system, Meibography, OCT, retinal photography, threshold visual field and topography. Patients will enjoy exploring a wide selection of fashionable frames and hundreds of designer frames plus an onsite optical lab is ready to conveniently serve patients.

About the opening

Becker Vision Center has an opportunity for an Optometrist who is committed to delivering exceptional personalized service 25 to 35 hours a week. You will provide comprehensive examinations, diagnose and treat disorders of the visual system, ensuring optimal vision for all patients approximately 12 to 15 patients are seen daily. A candidate interested in exploring dry eye disease to expand patient care and eventually add a dry eye clinic, will be complimentary addition to the practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work with experts in the field and grow professionally with a solid practice plus, a potential partnership opportunity may be available.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors, willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services, and be involved within the community.
