The bin repair and cleaners are responsible for inspecting, repairing, and cleaning wooden fruit bins.
This is a Monday-Friday position on 1st shift (7am-3:
30pm) with a starting pay rate of $17 per hour.
Must have Forklift experience and experience using both manual and power tolls.
Duties:
Load and unload wooden cranberry bins from semi-trailers.
Check each bin for quality such as broken boards, missing nails, exposed nails, staples, dry rot, mold, mildew, and foreign materials.
Assist in bin assembly.
Repair broken or damaged bins by removing defective boards, replacing them with new boards, replacing strapping, and refitting loose boards.
Ability to operate manual and power tools and determine the type of tools needed to complete the job.
Tools used - air Nailer, air stapler, hammer, Sawzall, chop saw, table saw, and Ect.
Clean exterior and interior on bins including removing old tags, scraping, and removing foreign materials.
Perform warehouse work, including driving a forklift.
Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
