Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to the first and mid-level management team members (e.g. coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, maintain appropriate records of investigations, and advise stakeholders in the progression of such cases. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Ensure best in class on-boarding experience to all new employees to ensure employees are engaged and set up for success from day one. Off-boarding process entails coordination of employee termination activities with Corporate HR and Payroll Dept., conducting exit meetings/interviews, communicating off-boarding tasks to direct managers and termination paperwork completion. Maintain employee data in HRIS and other HR systems and regularly audit data entry and correct discrepancies. Maintain employee files and records, and assure completeness of local personnel files. Respond to employee questions about benefits and various HR policy inquiries. Promote Engagement Survey and all action planning initiatives Support Annual Performance review process Provide regular HR reporting on Hires, Terminations, Promotions and Transfers. Support Corporate HR team on annual reporting for EEO/Affirmative Action. Assist in Corporate HR initiatives and projects as requested by Corporate HR leader. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements/
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in human resources or related field. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in performing outlined responsibilities. Ability to work independently is critical. Proactively takes ownership for producing positive results. Resourceful self-starter with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with limited information and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication/interpersonal skills and experience partnering with employees and managers. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Solid computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. Keeps commitments; exhibits candor and courage. Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail is critical. Experience using HRIS systems. Multi-site responsibility.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
HR ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
